Micro-feminism, by Marion Oprel

Microfeminism is a fairly recent trend in daily life and in social media.

It consists of small acts of resistance to confront noticeable daily gender inequalities, and highlights the significance of taking a stance, however small, to challenge the biases that continue to be strongly connected to traditional gender roles.

It is something all of us - female, male or gender fluid - can engage in to help readjust the gender balance in society.

The Space Between Us, by Kathleen Misson

Communication may be verbal, non-verbal, written, expressed in images or even gestures through all material and immaterial media. Even not saying something is a form of communication. Your truth is important and you deserve to be understood and allowed to express your own authentic voice.

Communication isn’t just about what we say, but about what takes place in the space between us.

The communication is given, and it is received. But what happens in the space in between the giving and receiving. How can we reduce the barriers and communicate our truth in a way that is clear and understood?

The topic explores why misunderstandings happen so easily, why good intentions are often lost and how small shifts in awareness can transform the way we connect with our loved ones, our colleagues and in our communities. This presentation is practical, reflective and human, offering insights you can use immediately to listen better, speak more clearly and create stronger, more meaningful connections.
